The new design addresses all the deficiencies of today's current handcuffs and restraints. The standard pawl and ratchet have been replaced with a unique and patented geared operating mechanism that is fully engaged with the swing arm at all times when the handcuff is either being opened or closed. The patented locking mechanism cannot be picked and uses a patented cylindrical key. All Gotcha handcuffs come with a G&G handcuff case.
